Westmead
Hospital Redevelopment
The State’s largest hospital redevelopment project. The main works contract comprises a 12 storey acute services building located within the Westmead health, education and research precinct. The redevelopment will connect Westmead Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and provide a total of 95,559 square metres of space, hosting a range of adult and paediatric services including emergency, pharmacy, imaging and state-of-the art operating suite and Level PC3 & 2 clean room.
Scheduled to open in early 2022, the new Maitland Hospital will deliver a range of services and increased capability in the form of more beds and treatment spaces to better meet the changing healthcare needs of the community.
The hospital will also provide emergency care, chemotherapy chairs, surgical services, critical care, maternity services, paediatric care, cardiac cauterisation, inpatient beds, mental health, palliative care, outpatient clinics and dental.
The Darling
​Hotel
This 5 star, world class 12 storey hotel features 171 rooms comprised of 113 guest rooms, 35 junior suites and 8 executive suites with a further 9 VIP junior suites and 5 penthouses. The Darling will cater for holiday makers, business travellers, international celebrities and high end gaming customers.
Other features of the hotel include an exclusive international day spa, 25 metre lap pool and exquisitely designed outdoor function and bar areas.
